Menu Design

Menu Design for Restaurants and Cafes

Commercial menu artwork—layouts, pricing hierarchy and brand-aligned files your printer or display vendor can run. We design the menu. We do not print it or run the kitchen.

For planning ideas without production files, see the restaurants menu design guide. This page is the service that turns your item list into print- and screen-ready menu artwork.

Overview

Menu artwork guests can actually order from

A menu fails when prices hide, sections collide or the brand looks like a different venue. We build readable hierarchy—food, drink and specials—then hand off files ready for print or display.

This service sits under merchandise design. It is not apparel or packaging merch, and it is not a substitute for a commercial printer when you need paper and boards produced.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about menu design

Do you print menus or run a restaurant?
No. GraphicDigits designs menu artwork files—layouts, typography and print- or screen-ready exports. You or your printer handle paper, boards and press runs. We do not operate a kitchen or a print shop.
How is this different from merchandise design?
Merchandise design is the hub for branded product graphics (apparel, packaging and related SKUs). This page owns commercial menu design: restaurant and cafe menu artwork. Use merchandise design to browse the category; use this page when the menu itself is the deliverable.
How is menu design different from flyers or table tents?
Menu design is the full bill of fare—sections, prices and brand layout guests use to order. Flyers promote offers; table tents are small stand-up inserts. Planning notes for tents live on the table tent design guide; quote flyer design when the piece is a promo, not the menu.
What menu formats can you design?
Single-sheet, bi-fold, tri-fold, booklet and board formats when scoped. Digital PDFs and screen board layouts can be included if you need the same system for QR, tablet or display menus. Exact sizes follow your printer or display specs.
What files do I receive?
Typically print-ready PDFs with bleed, plus editable source files when scoped (for example AI or PSD). Screen crops can be added for boards or web. Formats are confirmed from how you plan to print or display—not a one-size social mock.
Do you offer unlimited revisions or a free menu audit?
No. Revision rounds are listed in the quote. We review your item list and brand brief and price scoped menu artwork. There is no complimentary audit or unlimited-revision promise.
